Our roles at Specsavers are not your ordinary sales positions - you will join the team as an Optical Assistant, bringing your valued retail & customer service knowledge to meet the caring values and optical expertise of our brand, making sure every patient receives the best care in our stores.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Registration of patients on arrival for appointments.
Booking and managing appointments for Optical and Audiology services.
Use of clinical equipment to carry out pre-diagnostic checks for patients.
Spectacle styling for patients choosing new glasses.
Adjustments and repairs of spectacles.
Call handling and administrative roles.
Dispensing and sale of Optical products such as spectacles and contact lenses.

We are looking for a presentable, approachable individual with a positive attitude who is keen to learn new skills. You will be able to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally. You will also possess strong organisational skills as well as the ability to build relationships with a wide range of people.
No previous optical experience is required for this role as full training will be given. However, experience in retail, hospitality or administration would be beneficial.
