Key Responsibilities
Oversee the daily administrative operations of the practice
Manage appointment scheduling and patient communications
Handle supplier communications and stock control for frames, lenses, and accessories
Process invoices and payments
Provide front-of-house support, welcoming patients and ensuring a premium experience
Helping with frame selection
Liaise with external service providers (e.g., IT, maintenance, accountants)
Assist in social media updates and promotions
Essential Skills & Qualities
Strong organisational and time management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
High attention to detail and ability to multitask
Proficient in office software and practice management systems (training provided)
Warm, patient-focused demeanor and a team-player mindset
Ability to remain calm under pressure
Preferred Experience
Previous experience in an optical or healthcare setting is highly desirable
Familiarity with optical terminology, frame and lens types, or experience with dispensing is a bonus
Experience in administration, retail management, or customer service is advantageous
