A very exciting opportunity has become available for a customer focused Optical Assistant. This practice is situated on a busy high street and requires an individual to work independently and within a team.

As an Optical Assistant you'll make sure every customer gets a great experience when they come into our store. It means listening to what they want, providing exceptional clinical advice and dispensing lenses. You'll work to NHS guidelines (as well as our own high standards), explain current offers and promotions and make a positive impression, thanks to your polite and professional approach.

The role will entail dispensing spectacles to all levels, conducting pre-screen tests and contact lens teaches. You will also be required to carry out frame styling and give patients advice on options. Reception duties and general admin will also be a part of the role as well as helping with the smooth running of the practice. As an optical assistant you will spend your time on various aspects of meeting your customers' needs precisely and competently.

Previous experience is desirable but not mandatory as training will be provided. The position includes Saturdays. Having the ability to speak more than one language is highly desirable.

Please note: You may occasionally be required to cover in Burton on Trent.
