Job Description

Experienced Optical Assistant sought for part time / full time role.

You need to be proactive, great interacting with patients of all ages, be commercially aware, social media aware, have experience of dispensing and assembly of spectacles of all types, and ideally have experience with imaging systems used in ophthalmology (OCT / Optos / Visual Fields).

You should believe in a fantastic customer experience, have excellent communication skills, and good computer literacy.

Our practice is well established, and has been in the area for 30 years. We have great links with our local community and other local healthcare professionals. We recently completed a move into brand new more modern premises, and are now better able to serve our patients using state of the art equipment. We are involved in a number of local clinical services, and naturally as an optical practice, we sell all kinds of eye wear.

We pride ourselves in offering outstanding customer service, recommending to our patients the finest products available for their needs and budgets.
