What's this job really about?

The purpose of this role is to make our clients feel special and build great relationships with them. They come to us because they want to look good and feel great in glasses. You will be the first smiling face they will see or hear when they walk in or call on the phone. We have an amazing team that helps them choose glasses and your role is to make sure all of our clients are being wowed and having an incredible customer experience with us at all times!

It includes...

Welcoming new clients, getting to know them and their preferences and starting a great, long-term relationship between them and us. Getting to know regular clients on a first-name basis, providing personal service, and making them feel special. Talking with clients about their interests, eyewear, style, and finding points of connection with everyone as an individual and helping select their new look. Being a barista (or mixologist)! Serving amazing teas, coffees, Pimms, beers, or prosecco to our clients. A good drink is part of the Clarke & Roskrow experience! Looking after the appearance of the practice retail environment throughout the day and making sure the way the practice looks is a wow for clients. Effortlessly managing several clients in the practice at the same time, making sure everyone is being looked after and made to feel special. Are you the perfect host?! Running the day like a well-oiled machine. Keeping the appointment book, client arrivals, customer experiences, and team members organised and co-ordinated, so every client has a 'wow' experience with us. Having great initial conversations on the phone with potential new clients and regular clients when they call and booking them in to see us. Sending great emails to potential new clients and regular clients when they email us with enquiries to help them and book them in.

Clarke & Roskrow Styling Opticians is a successful, thriving, multi-award-winning boutique practice in Market Harborough. Due to our growth and ambition we are currently looking to add an ambitious, like-minded, front-of-house team member to our current superstar team. What will I need in order to be considered for this opportunity?

A positive, 'can-do' and enthusiastic attitude with 'no excuses' is absolutely essential to thrive in this position. An ability to sell yourself as well as our services. We're looking for someone who is great with people. Ability to work as part of a busy, flexible team. Helpful and approachable. Ability to multi-task and keep on top of lots of details. Any experience in luxury retail, high-end customer service, hospitality or optical experience is helpful. Experience in an opticians is not essential. A positive energy, tons of enthusiasm to learn and 'can-do' attitude are most important!

Starting Salary

- 24,500 - 28,000 depending on experience plus generous performance based monthly bonus and annual sales bonus

Hours

- 37.5 hours (5 days) per week, 9.00 a.m. - 5.30 p.m. Monday to Friday.
