As an Optical Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the daily operations of our optical practice. You will assist in providing exceptional customer service while ensuring that all optical products and services meet the highest standards. Duties
Greet and assist customers with their optical needs, providing knowledgeable advice on eyewear options.
Conduct preliminary tests such as visual acuity assessments and assist with the fitting of spectacles and contact lenses.
Maintain an organised inventory of optical products, ensuring that displays are well-stocked and visually appealing.
Support the optometrist during examinations by preparing necessary equipment and assisting with patient records.
Handle administrative tasks including appointment scheduling, billing, and maintaining patient confidentiality.
Ensure cleanliness and organisation of the laboratory area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
