Job Title: Oracle DB Technical Architect

Location: London, UK(Hybrid)

Job type: 6 Months contract with possible extension

Responsibilities

Design implement and manage Exadata Cloud Service ExaCS database solutions Develop and maintain database architecture strategies to support business goals Lead the migration and integration of databases across multi cloud database environments including Oracle Cloud AWS Azure and Google Cloud Ensure high availability scalability and performance of database systems Collaborate with cross functional teams to define and implement database solutions that meet business requirements.

Requirements:

Handson experience with migrating large database to Exadata ExaCS ExaCC platform. Expereince with migrating database to ATPADW Design Database consolidation and reduce OPEX spending Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior database architects and administrators Conduct performance tuning capacity planning and security assessments Stay updated with the latest advancements in database technologies and cloud offerings Implement and manage Exadata X9 hardware including persistent memory PMem and RDMA algorithms to optimize performance and reduce latency Deploy and manage Exadata X1110M98 hardware leveraging its scaleout highperformance database servers and intelligent storage servers Extensive knowledge and troubleshooting experience in the following areas RAC RAT testing ASM Exadata Performance tuning Data Guard Physical and Logical DG Broker Experience in database security TDE Audit Vault OKV etc Experience in OS administration Linux Solaris virtualization storage ZFS ZDLRA
