Oracle SOA Developer

UST are currently looking recruit an Oracle SOA Developer with good Java development skills to be based at one of our clients\' sites in Nottingham.

About the role

The successful candidate will work as part of a self-organised services engineering team to design and develop software features that are delightful and vital to the lives of consumers across all walks of life

You will work to achieve the goals and vision articulated by Product Management and your management chain, your focus will be on a major portion of existing or new team software within your team.

Key deliverables

• Administer the BPM architecture and configuration across our suite of software applications
• Develop BPM solutions within the Service Oriented Architecture Methodology
• Maintain and document customisations / extensions Requirements for role:
• You have a proven ability to deliver high quality applications at scale
• Very strong programming skills and knowledge of building API\'s using modern OO languages, preferably Java, SOLID principles, SOA, HTTP and REST
• You have experience working with Oracle Fusion, developing BPM solutions within the Service Oriented Architecture Methodology
• Experience developing custom BPM workflows and ADF UIs to based on User requirements
• Experience in developing on Oracle 12c db - e.g. SQL, Relational database skills
• You\'re able to effectively communicate and partner across engineering to maximise inner-sourcing opportunities and reduce waste.
• You\'re an advocate for quality and can lead the team leveraging approaches such as Pair Programming, TDD and BDD Experience that would be advantageous:
• Working with the cloud/AWS and the opportunities that it brings
