Oral Health Research Incubator Project Manager

Overview

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual with interests in project management and oversight, to work as a Project Manager on the National Institute for Health Research-supported Incubator for Oral Health Research. You will manage the delivery of the NIHR-supported Incubator in Oral Health Research, developing and implementing detailed project plans and work packages.



You will work closely with co-Leads, Professor Zoe Marshman (University of Sheffield) and Professor Chris Vernazza (Newcastle University), the steering group and key stakeholders. Your focus will be on supporting work to strengthen research capacity and capability in oral health, ensuring that the incubator achieves its objectives. You will play a vital role in driving engagement, supporting researchers and organising oral health research events/workshops.

Main duties and responsibilities

Manage the development and implement detailed project plans. Develop and implement with the incubator co-leads an evaluation strategy to assess the impact of Incubator activities. Engage with key stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, researchers, patient representatives and policymakers, ensuring strong collaboration. Organise and coordinate meetings and events with the steering group, subgroups, and wider network members. Manage social media, website content, and public engagement to enhance awareness and visibility of the Incubator. Collaborate with national and devolved nations research bodies, NHS trusts, universities, stakeholders and policy makers/advisors to strengthen research partnerships. Organise and assist with the conduct of workshops, focus groups and co-created resources to support research capacity building. Provide support to the co-leads and other colleagues engaged on the project. Manage/monitor the budget and liaise with the funders as required.
