Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Oral Surgeon to join our esteemed dental practice in Lymm. As a vital member of our team, you will provide exceptional oral surgical care to our patients, contributing to our practice's reputation for excellence in dental health services.

Perform a wide range of oral surgical procedures, including dental implants, wisdom teeth extractions, and corrective jaw surgeries Diagnose and treat complex oral and maxillofacial conditions Collaborate with other dental professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans Provide pre-operative and post-operative care instructions to patients Manage patient consultations, explaining procedures and addressing concerns with empathy and clarity Maintain detailed and accurate patient records Stay current with the latest advancements in oral surgery techniques and technologies Participate in team meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of our practice Accept and manage referrals from other dental clinics in the area Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations
Qualifications

Degree in Dental Surgery from a recognised institution Current registration with the General Dental Council (GDC) Specialist training in Oral Surgery and GDC specialist list Proven experience as an Oral Surgeon, with a track record of successful surgical procedures Expertise in various dental procedures, including implants, orthodontics, endodontics, and periodontics Strong clinical skills and attention to detail Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Commitment to patient-centred care and customer service Proficiency in using dental practice management software Dedication to continuing professional development and staying abreast of industry advancements Ability to manage a busy surgical schedule and work efficiently Empathetic approach to patient care, especially when dealing with anxious patients
