Order Fulfilment Manager - Hull - Manufacturing - 35,000 - 45,000 + Benefits

We are seeking a proactive Order Fulfilment Manager to lead and manage the sales order function within a busy manufacturing environment. This role focuses on ensuring customer orders are handled efficiently from enquiry to delivery, while supporting continuous improvement across processes, systems, and team performance.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the full sales order process, from customer enquiry through to order placement, production planning, and delivery. Manage a small team, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and on time. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal departments to ensure excellent service and communication. Support warranty and remedial requests, ensuring issues are managed effectively and resolved quickly. Drive process improvements to reduce errors, improve efficiency, and minimise costs (including waste and downtime). Monitor and report on KPIs, using data to improve team and business performance. Collaborate with production and other departments to ensure smooth workflow and accurate documentation. Support system use (ERP/MRP, Excel, Word) to coordinate the order process. Lead team development through training, performance reviews, and clear communication.

Skills & Experience

Experience managing the sales order process within a manufacturing environment. Strong leadership and people management skills. Excellent communication and customer service abilities. IT literate, with good knowledge of ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office. Analytical with strong problem-solving skills. Resilient, organised, and able to work under pressure.
