About the Role:



We're looking for a proactive Order Management Coordinator who will expedite the fulfilment of confirmed sales orders across B2B and B2C channels. You'll be responsible for managing the full order lifecycle across a cross retail, distribution and e-commerce, ensuring timely fulfilment and inventory optimisation.

Working closely with Customer Services, Sales, Production, Purchasing and Logistics, you'll play a key role in keeping orders flowing smoothly and customers receiving the highest level of service.

Key Responsibilities:



Manage the end-to-end order journey across multiple channels. Work with Production, Purchasing and Logistics to align supply with demand. Provide proactive, accurate updates to Customer Services and Sales teams. Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy and reliability.

What We're Looking For:



Experience in order management, supply chain or customer service. Ability to analyse inventory and order data to make informed decisions and prioritise actions. Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail. ERP/inventory management system knowledge. A confident communicator with a proactive, problem-solving approach.

JOB TITLE: ORDER MANAGEMENT CO-ORDINATOR

REPORTS TO: HEAD OF CUSTOMER SERVICES



LOCATION: EXETER HEAD OFFICE



PURPOSE OF THE ROLE



We are looking for a detail-oriented, proactive Order Management Coordinator, who will expedite the fulfilment of confirmed sales orders across B2B and B2C channels. You will ensure timely fulfilment and effective inventory management through collaboration with Customer Services, Production, Purchasing, Sales and Logistics. The role is key in providing transparent order status management, identifying potential restrictions and delivering a smooth customer journey from order to delivery.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES



Order Oversight and Fulfilment Execution



Manage the full lifecycle of customer orders across multiple channels, ensuring completeness, awareness of availability and delivery within agreed timeframes. Monitor open orders, prioritising based on urgency, availability and customer needs. Maintain order integrity across systems, reducing delays and backlogs.

Communication and Reporting



Clearly communicate to each sales channel the status of orders, potential issues, next steps and timeframes for resolution. Produce reports on fulfilment performance, backorders, and stock risks. Provide insights and recommendations to improve service and optimise inventory use. Identify trends to inform strategic decisions. Support forward planning by flagging availability issues. Work with Warehousing and Logistics on transfers, reallocations, and expedited shipments.

Production and Purchasing Alignment



Collaborate with Production, Purchasing and Logistics to align demand with supply. Track purchase order due dates and provide visibility to commercial teams. Flag backorder risks early to support agile planning.

Cross-Functional Collaboration



Act as a central contact for Customer Services, Sales, Supply Chain, ICT and Finance. Communicate clearly on fulfilment performance, lead times and stock challenges.

System Maintenance and Process Improvement



Supporting the maintenance of data quality - accurate order, inventory and delivery data in ERP/CRM systems. Support upgrades, automation and workflow improvements to enhance visibility and accuracy. Promote data integrity across all platforms. Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy and reliability

Customer-Facing Support



Assist Customer Service with accurate ETAs and resolution of order issues. Maintain proactive communication to ensure a positive customer experience.

Health and Safety



Endorse and promote a positive and conscious health and safety culture within the Company. Ensure always take reasonable care of their own health and safety and that of others who may be affected by their acts or omissions. Ensure compliance with all health and safety, quality and human resource policies and procedures of Original Style.

PERSON SPECIFICATION



To succeed in this role required attributes are:

Experience in order management, supply chain or customer services. Strong understanding of B2B and B2C order flows. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. Ability to analyse inventory and order data to make informed decisions and prioritise actions ERP/inventory management system knowledge A strong and confident communicator with cross-departmental collaboration skills. Proactive, solutions-focused mind set. Familiarity with production planning, purchasing, or logistics is an advantage.

HEAD OFFICE LOCATION



Original Style's head office is based in air-conditioned offices with free parking close to junction 30 of the M5 at Falcon Road, Sowton Industrial Estate, Exeter, Devon, EX2 7LB.
