Job Summary



We are seeking an

enthusiastic and highly organized individual

to join our busy, open-plan sales office as part of the Orders & Logistics team. This role is crucial for Turtle by focusing on the accurate and timely management of all sales and purchase orders, logistics, and subsequent invoicing. The ideal candidate will be a

proactive self-starter

with the ability to

multitask

effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Duties



The primary responsibilities of this role involve managing the full order and delivery lifecycle as part of an existing Orders & Logistics team.

Order Processing:



Accurately process both

sales orders

and

purchase orders

on time. Progress orders with suppliers from the initial point of order through to final delivery. Maintain required stock levels and ensure supplier Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are met in relation to lead times.

Customer & Supplier Liaison:



Act as the primary contact via phone and email to provide customers with order status and delivery information. Communicate with suppliers to establish order progress and resolve any issues.

Logistics & Transport Management:



Arrange transport and shipping by creating manifests (often using

Excel

) and entering information into various transport portals. Track deliveries and ensure the

most cost-effective shipping method

is used for every order. Obtain Proof of Deliveries (PODs) for all fulfilled orders. Resolve any transport or delivery-related issues quickly and efficiently.

Invoicing & Reconciliation:



Ensure all sales orders are accurate before issuing customer invoices. Ensure all purchase orders are accurate before processing or addressing and resolving any queries or discrepancies.

Required Skills & Qualifications



Experience:

Proven experience working in an

order processing

or

logistics/transport

environment.

Computer Literacy:

Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically

Outlook, Excel, and Word

.

Communication:

A professional, confident, and clear manner when communicating with customers and suppliers by telephone and email.

Work Ethic:

Demonstrated ability to

multitask

and manage competing priorities effectively in a

fast-paced, high-volume environment.


Desired Skills (Nice-to-Haves)



NVQ3 in Business Administration

or an equivalent qualification. Prior working experience with

Salesforce

or other CRM systems. Familiarity with

Sage 50

accounting software. Experience using and managing

shared mailboxes and shared documents

in a collaborative office setting.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 27,000.00-33,000.00 per year
