Organisational Performance Manager

Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen in our organisational performance team to support the development, implementation and continuous improvement of a robust corporate performance management framework for the Strategic Health Authority (SHA), which is consistent with the SHA's Strategic Direction and Operational Plan and actively promote a culture of excellence.



The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.



Provide performance advice and support across the organisation.



Analyse complex data sets to identify trends and improvement opportunities.



Present data using visual tools (i.e. PowerBI ) and persuasive communication techniques.



Deliver formal and informal training to staff on performance management.



Plan and prioritise work to meet deadlines, using electronic diaries and regular updates.



Undertake research and audits to understand performance variation.



Digital Health and Care Wales (DHCW) is an expert national body and part of NHS Wales. We work in partnership with NHS Wales colleagues and other key stakeholders to provide national digital and data services which support the delivery of health and social care in Wales. Modern health and care services depend on good digital tools, data and information. DHCW runs or works with more than 100 services and delivers major national digital transformation programmes to support this. In addition, DHCW provides expert advice in relation to cyber security and information governance. We give frontline staff the digital tools which help them provide safer and more efficient care. Support the development and implementation of a corporate performance management framework aligned with strategic goals.



Lead and manage a team of analysts, ensuring delivery of performance outputs and staff development.



Represent the Organisational Performance function at internal and external meetings.



Drive the creation of performance reports and ensure accuracy of external returns.



Promote performance improvement through data analysis, benchmarking, and service reviews.



Communicate performance insights effectively to diverse audiences and deliver training.



Maintain awareness of national targets and support multi-agency performance frameworks.
