Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nurse to join our Orthodontic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to providing exceptional patient care and will have a solid understanding of anatomy. This role is essential in ensuring the well-being of patients and supporting their recovery journey.

Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality patient care, including administering medications and treatments as prescribed. Monitor and assess patient conditions, documenting changes and reporting to the medical team as necessary. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualised care plans. Educate patients and their families on health management, treatment options, and preventive care. Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations. Assist in medical procedures and provide support during examinations. Ensure a safe and hygienic environment for patients by adhering to infection control protocols.

Qualifications

Registered Dental Nurse qualification with a valid GDC number is essential. Strong knowledge of orthodontics, anatomy and physiology, with the ability to apply this knowledge in clinical settings. Proven experience in patient care, demonstrating empathy and effective communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team while also being capable of working independently. Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail, ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to protocols. Flexibility to work various shifts as required by the healthcare facility.
