We are looking for an enthusiastic clinician who enjoys working with younger patients and is confident in delivering high-quality orthodontic care. You will be responsible for providing assessments, treatment planning, and ongoing care for children and adolescent orthodontic patients, ensuring a positive and supportive experience throughout their treatment journey.

GDC registered Orthodontist (or Specialist Orthodontist)
Proven interest or experience in children's orthodontics
Commitment to delivering excellent patient care

Duties
Conduct comprehensive examinations of patients' teeth, jaws, and facial structures using clinical assessments and medical imaging tools.
Develop personalised treatment plans to correct malocclusions and other orthodontic issues.
Design, fit, and adjust orthodontic appliances such as braces, aligners, and retainers with precision.
Utilise CAD (Computer-Aided Design) technology to plan and simulate orthodontic treatments effectively.
Monitor patient progress throughout treatment programmes, making adjustments as necessary to optimise outcomes.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices related to orthodontic devices and overall dental health.
Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and other specialists to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Maintain accurate records of patient treatments and progress in compliance with regulatory standards.
Stay current with advancements in orthodontic techniques, materials, and technology through continuous professional development.
Qualifications
Fully qualified Orthodontist with recognised certification or registration in the UK.
Demonstrated knowledge of anatomy relevant to craniofacial structures and dental development.
Proficiency in medical imaging techniques used for diagnostic purposes.
Experience or familiarity with CAD software utilised in orthodontic treatment planning is desirable.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases effectively.
Strong communication skills to explain treatment options clearly to patients of all ages.
