Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Orthodontist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in dental care, with a focus on orthodontics. You will be responsible for diagnosing and treating dental irregularities, creating treatment plans, and providing exceptional patient care. Your expertise in anatomy, CAD (Computer-Aided Design), and medical imaging will be essential in delivering effective orthodontic solutions.

Duties

Conduct thorough examinations of patients' teeth and jaws to diagnose orthodontic issues. Develop customised treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs. Utilise CAD technology to design and implement orthodontic appliances such as braces and aligners. Interpret medical imaging results to assess the alignment of teeth and jaws accurately. Monitor patient progress throughout treatment, making adjustments as necessary. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of maintaining their orthodontic appliances. Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and other specialists to ensure comprehensive patient care. Stay updated on advancements in orthodontic techniques and technologies to provide the best possible care.

Experience

A degree in Dentistry followed by a specialised qualification in Orthodontics is required. Proven experience in a clinical setting, preferably within an orthodontic practice. Proficiency in CAD software and familiarity with medical imaging technologies is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of dental anatomy and orthodontic principles is essential. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and staff. A commitment to continuing professional development and staying abreast of industry trends.
