Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Orthodontist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of orthodontic principles and techniques, with the ability to diagnose and treat dental irregularities. This role requires excellent communication skills and a patient-centric approach to care, ensuring that each patient receives tailored treatment plans that meet their individual needs.Duties

Conduct thorough examinations of patients' teeth, jaws and facial structure to assess orthodontic needs. Develop comprehensive treatment plans using diagnostic tools including medical imaging. Utilise CAD technology for designing and implementing orthodontic appliances. Monitor patient progress throughout treatment and making adjustments as necessary. Educate patients and their families about treatment options, procedures and oral hygiene practices. Collaborate with dental hygienists, nurses and other specialists. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with health regulations. Stay updated on advancements in orthodontic techniques and technologies.

Experience

A degree in Dentistry followed by a recognised postgraduate qualification in Orthodontics. Proven experience in an orthodontic setting is preferred but not mandatory for recent graduates. Strong knowledge of anatomy related to dental structures and facial aesthetics. Familiarity with medical imaging techniques used in orthodontics is advantageous. Proficiency in CAD software for the design of orthodontic devices is desirable.
