Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Orthodontist to join our practice. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in orthodontics, demonstrating expertise in diagnosing and treating dental and facial irregularities. This role requires a compassionate approach to patient care, ensuring that each individual receives personalised treatment plans tailored to their specific needs.

Duties

Conduct comprehensive examinations of patients' teeth, jaws, and facial structures to determine orthodontic treatment needs. Develop and implement effective treatment plans using various orthodontic techniques and appliances. Utilise advanced technology, including CAD (Computer-Aided Design) and medical imaging, to enhance diagnostic accuracy and treatment outcomes. Monitor patient progress throughout treatment, making adjustments as necessary to ensure optimal results. Educate patients and their families on oral hygiene practices, treatment options, and the importance of follow-up care. Collaborate with dental hygienists, dental assistants, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications

A degree in Dentistry followed by a recognised postgraduate qualification in Orthodontics. Valid dental licence to practice as an Orthodontist in the relevant jurisdiction. Strong knowledge of anatomy related to dental structures and facial aesthetics. Proficiency in CAD software and medical imaging techniques is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. A commitment to continuing professional development and staying updated with advancements in orthodontic practices.
