Job Summary


We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Osteopath to join our Pharmacy Team. The individual will have an understanding of business and be prepared to help their sector of the business. This is a fantastic opportunity to self manage your diary and patients in an environment that is a modern and established pharmacy with over 5,000 registered patients.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality osteopathic care to patients, focusing on the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of musculoskeletal disorders. The role requires a strong understanding of anatomy and a commitment to patient-centred care, ensuring that each individual receives tailored treatment plans to enhance their overall well-being.

Responsibilities



Conduct thorough assessments of patients' medical histories and physical conditions. Develop and implement personalised treatment plans based on individual patient needs. Utilise manual therapy techniques to alleviate pain and improve mobility. Educate patients on lifestyle changes, exercises, and self-care strategies to promote recovery and prevent future issues. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care. Stay updated with the latest developments in osteopathy and related fields through continuous professional development.

Experience



A recognised degree in Osteopathy or equivalent qualification is essential. Previous experience in a clinical setting is advantageous but not mandatory for newly qualified practitioners. Strong knowledge of anatomy is required to effectively assess and treat patients. Excellent communication skills to build rapport with patients and explain treatment plans clearly. A compassionate approach towards patient care, demonstrating empathy and understanding.
