We run a very busy out of school care setting, we care for children age 4 -11 years old. As well as our child-minding and preschool settings all based in Billericay.
This September we are opening our second out of care school setting, this one is set within the school grounds, and will run the same way as our current one.
We will be collecting children from the same school as our waiting list has grown over the past year, hence why we our opening our second one.

We are looking for those special individuals to join our team of 12 staff , you will be expected to support the children at breakfast time and take them to and from their classes, arrange cold teas , organise activities, read stories, be imaginative and play board games and have lots of fun.
The ideal candidates I would like to have had experience working with children, possess strong leadership skills, and be passionate about providing a safe and engaging space for young learners.
The hours of work are 7.30-9am & 3-6.15pm Monday to Friday , term time only.
We can be flexible and offer a job share if you are unable to do all sessions
We are looking for you to join our great team in July so you have some experience and get to know the children when we open in September
You will need to have a clear DBS , and have some safeguarding training , we can arrange this if you are offered the position. Other training will be given as we follow the safer recruitment training program and support our staff throughout their journey with us to grow in their career if they wish
Responsibilities
- Organise and supervise play activities for children
- Manage and maintain a safe and clean play area
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues
- Implement daily routines and assist with meal times
- Support children's learning and development through play
- Drive engagement and participation in various activities
Qualifications
- Previous experience in childcare or nursery settings is desirable
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Ability to manage groups of children effectively
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles is advantageous
- Leadership skills to guide and motivate children during play sessions
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract
Pay: From 12.21 per hour
