The Outbound Sales Executive is a proactive, commercially driven sales professional. You will create momentum through structured follow?up, lead nurturing, and confident, value?led conversations, shaping guest intent rather than waiting for it. By bringing Riviera's story to life, deeply understanding guest needs, and guiding decision?making, you will turn warm leads into confirmed bookings across our award?winning holiday portfolio.
Success in this role means consistently delivering standout customer engagement, achieving ambitious conversion results, and navigating barriers with skill, resilience and pace, all while championing the Riviera experience from the very first touchpoint.
Basic salary is 26,000 + Commission with OTE 33,000
This is a remote working position, however the training and induction period is 3 weeks and will be based in the office in Burton on Trent.
Key Responsibilities:
Take ownership of the priority outbound lead queue and act fast - bringing energy, pace, and precision to every contact.
Identify exactly where each guest is in their travel decision journey, tailoring your approach to inspire and influence with Riviera's unique story.
Have curious, needs?based conversations that uncover what really matters to the guest and match them to the ideal Riviera experience.
Follow a dynamic multi?touch contact strategy (call ? email ? call), knowing when to push for the close and when to nurture for later.
Turn barriers into opportunities through confident objection handling and value?led selling.
Keep accurate notes and data - because brilliant sales require brilliant hygiene.
Bring a growth mindset: actively spot patterns, share insights, and help refine how this brand?new team operates.
Collaborate closely with Sales Managers and Marketing to champion guest feedback, lead quality trends, and improvement opportunities.
KPIs & Targets
Conversion rate: Stretch targets by lead type.
Revenue generation: Maximise revenue through upsell opportunities.
Speed to first attempt: Within 1 hour of lead generation.
QA score: Meet/exceed scorecard threshold.
Data hygiene: 100% outcomes and notes captured; opt?ins/opt?outs recorded.
Skills, Experience & Competencies
Experience in phone?based, consultative sales in a customer focussed environment (travel is preferred)
Ability to quickly absorb product knowledge and bring Riviera's USP(s) to life in conversation.
Strong personal discipline: you thrive with lead queues, SLAs, and structured workflows.
Confident navigating multiple systems and switching between them seamlessly mid?call.
Clear, engaging communicator who can influence, inspire, and close.
Detail?driven and organised, ensuring every guest interaction is captured beautifully.
