OUTDOOR HOLIDAY CLUB ASSISTANT

The Outdoors Project run Birthday Parties, After School and Holiday Clubs in Bristol for children age 5-11, 100% outdoors all year around. Our mission is to encourage kids to spend quality time outdoors and gain all the benefits from doing so! Fresh air, nature, exercise, developing friendships, engaging in "wild time", exploring creativity & imagination, learning new skills and above all having lots of FUN !!

We are looking for people who are either experienced with or who are looking to gain experience within the Childcare/Outdoor Activity sector. We are looking for fun and engaging people to help run our Holiday Clubs that run, Monday to Friday in October Half Term. 08.30am - 3.30pm at various locations around Bristol.

The Assistant role is to help the leader with the smooth running of the activities and help with group control. We are currently hiring for various days between Mon-Fri during October Half Term.

REQUIREMENTS

A current DBS check or access to the update service is desirable but for the right candidate, we can apply for one on your behalf.

Child protection training desirable.

The ability to work well within a team, communicate, be on time and reliability is essential.

ASSISTANT:

Experience working with large groups of children is desirable but we will happily train inexperienced staff

Hours for Holiday Club: 08.30am - 3.30pm

October Half Term

Pay:

10 (under 18), 12.21 under 21, 12.60 per hour (21+). Your pay rates will depend on your experience, age and qualifications. Uniform will be provided
