About the Role

Ready to turn your passion for the outdoors into a rewarding career? We're offering an incredible opportunity to train as a qualified outdoor activity instructor while gaining real-world teaching experience in one of Scotland's most stunning locations.

This isn't your typical placement--no making tea or watching from the sidelines. From week 1 onwards, you'll be assisting or leading your own groups, delivering sessions, and getting paid to do what you love.

What Makes This Different?

Phase 1: Training (9 weeks)

Earn nationally recognized qualifications including RYA Windsurfing Instructor and RYA Powerboat Level 2 Receive comprehensive in-house training from experienced professionals Build your confidence in a supportive environment All training costs covered

Phase 2: Working (10 weeks - Paid)

Lead your own activity sessions from day one Work alongside our team of 15 passionate instructors Design and deliver sessions independently Earn while you learn (accommodation fees apply)
Your Day-to-Day

Deliver high-energy outdoor activities including windsurfing, powerboating, and more Run entertainment sessions that create unforgettable experiences Conduct equipment and safety checks to company standards Design creative session plans tailored to different groups Support our safeguarding and health & safety policies Help grow the centre's reputation through excellent service

Selection Process

We welcome 6 placements each season and competition is strong. Selection is based on motivation, personality, and social skills--not existing qualifications or ability level. Show us your enthusiasm and potential!
