Job Summary

Do you want to work outside, every day, in ALL WEATHERS, with a sustainable company where no two days are the same and each day is different. We are looking for a hands on, enthusiastic, hard working and grafting individual with an abundance of common sense to join our team. We convert the Forestry and Tree Surgery by-product of our sister company and process the wood into premium firewood.

The role involves:

A full drivers license is a MUST!

Assisting with tree removal clearance with the potential to gain tickets if you want to become a climber. Pruning and debris disposal to ensure all sites are kept clean and free of hazards. Primary user of the log processor. As well as learn how to safely use and carry out maintenance tasks on equipment like chippers, chainsaws and kiln management. Delivery driver of product to domestic homes and commerical premises.

Experience

A full drivers license is a MUST! As well as experience driving with a trailer.

Experience in tree-surgery an advantage. Experience in landscape maintenance or groundskeeping will be considered a bonus. Familiarity with power tools, hand tools, and general maintenance practices is highly desirable. Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team, demonstrating strong communication skills is essential. A proactive approach to problem-solving with attention to detail in all tasks performed. A cool head with public.
