Blackland Farm Outdoor Centre is a rapidly growing, high-quality centre for outdoor learning, offering both on-site and off-site opportunities that inspire adventure, confidence, and connection with the outdoors. We work with schools, youth groups, membership organisations, corporates and a wide range of community partners to deliver meaningful outdoor experiences and personal development opportunities.

We are now looking to expand our team of Outdoor Instructors to deliver and lead our outdoor activity programmes.

This post is open to candidates both with and without prior experience, as we provide a comprehensive training programme as part of our employment offer.

We're seeking enthusiastic individuals who take pride in what they do and have a genuine passion for working in the outdoors. You should be motivated to make a difference through your work with young people, bringing a positive, 'can-do' approach to teamwork and problem solving. Our instructors are reliable, eager to learn, and not afraid to get their hands dirty

With a wide range of outdoor disciplines on offer - from watersports and rope work to bushcraft and land-based sessions - there's something to suit every skill set and interest.

Please note: successful applicants must be available to attend our mandatory training programme - 30th March to 12th April 2026. There is an additional optional Paddlesport Training week 14th- 20th April 2026.
