Outdoor Learning Lead / Forest School Leader

The Little Oak Tree Day Nursery - Newhall Street

Hours:

20-40 Hours Per Week - Hours dependant for the right candidate

Salary:

26,000-29,500 - full time salary

We are looking for a passionate and motivated Outdoor Learning Lead to take ownership of our outdoor environment and inspire children through hands-on, nature-based learning experiences.

As our Outdoor Learning Lead, you will transform our outdoor space into a thriving, child-led environment--one that fosters curiosity, creativity, and a lifelong love of nature. You'll lead sessions that bring learning to life in the woods, the garden, and beyond, supporting children to take risks, build resilience, and develop confidence in the natural world.

What we're looking for:

- A passion for outdoor learning and play, with a belief in the power of nature to inspire and educate children.
- A Level 3 Forest School qualification

(or a willingness to work towards it with our support).

- Experience working with children in an early years or primary setting.
- Someone who will take pride in the outdoor area--treating it as their own classroom, nurturing and developing it with creativity and care.
- An energetic, positive attitude and the ability to adapt activities to all weathers and abilities.
