What You'll Do:
Lead & Inspire
: Guide and support a dedicated team delivering rich, outdoor learning experiences to our 3-5-year-olds.
Deliver Excellence
: Champion high-quality education and care, using your understanding of ELC frameworks and outdoor pedagogy.
Drive Progress
: Take ownership of planning, observations, and assessments, ensuring each child's journey is documented and celebrated.
Support Growth
: Mentor and motivate staff, support training and development, and lead reflective practice across the team.
Engage Families
: Build strong, professional relationships with parents and carers, offering regular updates on their child's learning and development.
What We're Looking For:
A strong leader
with experience managing or supporting early years teams.
A
genuine passion
for outdoor learning, ideally with forest school or outdoor nursery experience.
Minimum 2 years' experience
working with 3-5-year-olds in an ELC setting.
Qualified to
SVQ Level 3 or HNC in Early Education and Childcare
(or equivalent).
Level 4 in Leadership & Management (or willing to work towards it).
A reflective, proactive attitude and commitment to continuous improvement.
A UK driving licence is preferred but not essential.
Working Hours & Flexibility:
Full-time /part-time hours available, Monday to Friday between 7:45am - 6:00pm.
We operate a flexible rota and
welcome applications from those seeking term-time or school-hours schedules.
