Outpatient Nurse - The Forbury Clinic, Reading

At The Forbury Clinic, we pride ourselves on providing consultant-led, patient-centred care in a supportive and welcoming environment. We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Outpatient Nurse to join our team across our clinics in Kendrick Road and Craven Road, Reading.

About the Role
As an Outpatient Nurse, you will play a vital role in supporting our consultants and ensuring a smooth patient journey from initial consultation through to follow-up care. You will provide direct clinical support, deliver safe and effective care, and help patients feel reassured and informed at every stage of their visit.

Key Responsibilities
- Supporting consultants during outpatient clinics across a range of specialities, including Urology, ENT, Ophthalmology, Dermatology and Coloproctology
- Carrying out nurse-led Urology and ENT procedures like bladder instillations, wound care, skin prick testing and patient education as well as assisting consultants with minor procedures.
- Ensuring accurate record keeping and adherence to CQC and clinic policies
- Providing a calm, empathetic presence for patients, many of whom may feel anxious or unwell
- Working collaboratively with the wider healthcare team to deliver a seamless patient experience

About You
We are looking for a nurse who is:
- NMC registered with post-registration experience in outpatients or a related clinical setting
- Organised, flexible and confident working across multiple specialities
- Patient-focused, with excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach
- Committed to maintaining high clinical standards and contributing to continuous improvement
