Our Outreach Rehabilitation Support Workers are trained to work alongside our neuro-therapy team to implement goals and strategies as we see people regain lost skills and confidence in order to move onto a more fulfilled life. We support individuals who have suffered life changing injuries to regain their skills, confidence and independence to maximise their quality of life and independence.
We don't need people with vast care experience, as we provide full training. What we need is a variety of different types of people who are kind, grounded, proactive people who love working in a positive creative team.
As this role is in the community supporting individuals in our own homes, community and workplaces it it essential to be a driver and car owner (please see our our advert/ make contact if you are a non driver). The role involves working on a varied rota including weekend work. (There is the opportunity to do some work in our residential rehab service alongside this role, if preferred, in order to gain experience in a residential and community setting.)
We have excellent career development programmes and opportunities, including a management training programme.
This role is on a rota basis, which includes evening and weekend work. It will include some personal care, depending on the needs of the people in the service.
Bank/occasional, part time and full time contracts are available.
