We are expanding and looking for some more proactive people to join or community support team. This role could be combined with work in our residential rehabilitation service in Barnsley if the applicant wanted further breadth.

Our Outreach Rehabilitation Support Workers work alongside neuro-therapists to help people regain skills and quality of life after a life-changing injury. The role involves doing interesting activities like supporting people with engaging activities like woodturning. Supporting individuals to engage with academic studies such as university. No two days are the same!

This is almost unheard of at entry level with only 1 or 2 other companies ever achieving this. We are looking for positive, energetic people passionate about making a positive impact on others through their work. We support individuals who have suffered life changing injuries to regain their skills, confidence and independence to maximise their quality of life and independence. The Outreach Rehabilitation Support Workers, work alongside an individual's neuro-therapy team to implement goals and strategies. We don't need people with vast care experience, as we provide full training. What we need is a variety of different types of people who are kind, grounded, proactive people who love working in a positive creative team.

As this role is in the community supporting individuals in our own homes, community and workplaces it is essential to be a driver and car owner (please see our advert/ make contact if you are a non driver). The role involves working on a varied rota including weekend work. (There is the opportunity to do some work in our residential rehab service alongside the role where people enjoy variety or breadth in experience)

Full training is given for this role, and we have excellent career development programmes and opportunities.

The role would suit both individuals looking for a complete career change or those looking working towards a career in Social Care, Neuro-Psychology, Neuro-OT, Neuro-SLT or Neuro-physiotherapy.
