Waking Nights Support Worker

to join our team and play a vital role in providing consistent, high-quality care to children in a nurturing residential setting.

This is a unique opportunity to support vulnerable young people during the night--ensuring their safety, emotional well-being, and stability at a critical time in their lives.

Your Role Will Include:



Supporting children with nighttime routines and responding to any needs that arise overnight Encouraging independence and building confidence through calm, consistent care Following and maintaining personalised care plans in collaboration with each child and their support network Providing emotional reassurance and creating a safe, nurturing overnight environment Assisting with early morning routines and preparing children for the day ahead Maintaining accurate and timely records of care and interactions throughout the shift Using IT systems for documentation in line with organisational policies and procedures

What We're Looking For:



Experience working with children or in a residential/childcare setting is highly desirable Confident verbal and written communication skills for engaging with children, families, and professionals Ability to follow and contribute to individualised care plans Comfortable using IT for documentation and communication A valid driving licence is preferred to support transport needs Compassionate, trustworthy, and calm--especially during quiet or challenging overnight hours

Pay: 12.44-13.50 per hour
