We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Owner Operator Van Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting goods efficiently and safely while ensuring exceptional customer service across St Ives and surrounding area
Duties
Operate a commercial vehicle to deliver goods to various locations.
Ensure the safe loading and unloading of cargo, adhering to all safety regulations.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries
Collaborate with warehouse staff to facilitate efficient operations during loading and unloading processes.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing any enquiries or concerns during deliveries.
Requirements
Valid driving licence
Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role within the transport industry.
Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and team members.
Ability to work independently while managing time efficiently to meet delivery deadlines.
Familiarity with warehouse operations is advantageous but not essential.
A commitment to safety and adherence to all relevant transport regulations.
