We are seeking a professional Owner Operator Driver to join our logistics team. This role involves operating commercial vehicles to deliver goods efficiently and safely across designated routes. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing their own vehicle, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining excellent communication with clients and dispatch teams. Duties

Operate a variety of commercial vehicles, including flatbed lorries, in compliance with all road safety regulations and company policies Plan and execute delivery routes efficiently, ensuring timely collection and drop-off of goods Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to identify any mechanical issues or safety concerns Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and warehouse personnel regarding delivery schedules and any unforeseen delays or issues Handle loading and unloading of cargo with care, ensuring items are secured properly during transit Perform basic mechanical checks and minor repairs if necessary to keep the vehicle in optimal condition

Qualifications

Proven experience in commercial driving, particularly as a delivery driver or owner operator Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record Strong driving skills with experience in flatbed transportation preferred Mechanical knowledge to perform routine vehicle inspections and minor repairs Previous delivery experience is advantageous for understanding loading procedures Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and clients Ability to manage time efficiently and work independently under minimal supervision Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to commercial driving and transportation operations

Job Type: Fixed term contract

Pay: 212.00-255.00 per day
