Role Overview

We're looking for someone who knows their way around a P2 (Salvagnini) bending machine and can hit the ground running. If you enjoy making metal behave itself, keeping quality tight, and keeping production flowing, this role fits the bill.

Key Responsibilities

Operate the P2 bending machine safely, efficiently, and to specification. Read and interpret engineering drawings, bend sequences, and job cards. Set up programs, adjust tooling, and perform basic machine checks. Inspect finished components to ensure accuracy and correct tolerances. Coordinate with fabrication, laser, and assembly teams to maintain workflow. Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and first-line troubleshooting. Report defects, issues, or machine faults promptly. Maintain a tidy, organised work area. Follow all health & safety procedures.

Skills & Experience

Experience operating a Salvagnini P2 or similar panel bender. Strong understanding of sheet metal fabrication processes. Ability to read engineering and bending drawings. Strong attention to detail. Able to work to production targets. Basic mechanical and problem-solving skills. FLT licence is an advantage. Reliable and practical. Calm under pressure. Team player with ownership of their workstation. Improvement-focused mindset.
