Lead Commissioner - Adult's (Full Time, Grade L SCP 37-40 salary 48,226 - 51,356)

The team...





The Commissioning team is responsible for a wide range of services including the commissioning and contract management of services across all ages. This is an exciting time to join our expanding team: with clear vision and priorities to create a vibrant, good quality and sustainable care and support market to help and support people to reach their potential. About the role....




Lead Commissioner- Ageing Well







You will lead a team through the entire commissioning cycle, delivering on key outcomes across the Ageing Well agenda. This may include developing and implementing strategies or developing systems and processes to improve the way in which services are commissioned and reviewed. Your work will be key to improving outcomes for service users and their families; this will be achieved through key commissioning activity such as leading on market engagement, co-production and development. You will have a varied portfolio of change and transformation initiatives including service design, redesign, and decommissioning.


About You



You will be qualified to degree level or have equivalent professional experience and knowledge around the needs of Adults across Health & Social Care. You have excellent and versatile communication skills and ability to work collaboratively. You will be a strong leader with the commitment to reaching the best outcomes for local residents. You will be able to use appropriate evidence and commissioning processes to optimise impact and make best use of resources in challenging times. You must also have experience of managing a team and previous experience of project management or commissioning.
