Personal Assistant to the Assistant Head

We are seeking to appoint an experienced Personal Assistant to the Assistant Head (Academic) at Saint Felix School.





This is a great opportunity for a passionate, dedicated and organised individual to join Saint Felix School as Personal Assistant to the Assistant Head. This role would suit an experienced educational administrator or someone with previous personal assistant experience.





Diplomatic and discreet in approach, you will work on behalf of the Assistant Head on all day-to-day matters over a wide range of tasks, managing a complex and demanding workload and working to strict deadlines. The successful candidate must be organised and able to prioritise effectively, display flexibility and remain calm under pressure. The successful candidate must display attention to detail, be articulate and numerate and be able to demonstrate high standards of presentation, both verbal and written to reflect the nature of the school.

Part of the role will be to support with examination administration at Saint Felix, having prior experience would be looked upon favourably but is not essential.


Saint Felix School is an independent co-educational day and boarding school for students aged from 2 to 18, located close to the glorious seaside town of Southwold on the Suffolk coast. Our aim is to develop well-rounded students with the skills and the personality to make a success of their lives during and after their school years.


You will join our successful staff at Saint Felix School and play a key role in the running of the school.


As the personal Assistant to the Headteacher and Deputy Headteacher you will be involved in the daily running of the school and have a varied and wide ranging role. Adaptability and an attentive nature is essential for this role.

Saint Felix, Southwold has been providing educational excellence for 120 years. A co-educational independent school for boarders and day pupils from the ages of 2 to 18.
