We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Assistant to support our young adult client. The position involves assisting with day-to-day activities at home and in the community, as well as domestic duties like cooking, cleaning, and light gardening. The client has specific needs, including managing seizures and communication difficulties. You should be able to communicate well with our client and have the ability to provide motivation to access the outdoors and social activities.
At present we can offer up to 8 hours, 4 hours on a Friday and then 4 hours worked flexibly over 2 days. This will be mainly a domesticated role with some Support worker/PA duties also.

Person Specification
Essential
A genuine passion for supporting vulnerable individuals.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to build trusting relationships with clients and colleagues.
Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Basic IT skills for recording and reporting.
Understanding of confidentiality and safeguarding practices.
Right to work in the UK (unfortunately we do not offer sponsorship).
Willingness to undergo a DBS check.
Some knowledge and understanding of brain injury
Desirable
Previous experience in a care or support role.
Level 2 or above qualification in Health and Social Care (or working towards it).
First Aid and Manual Handling training.
Knowledge of person-centred care approaches.
Understanding of specific needs (e.g., mental health, learning disabilities, autism, elderly care).
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (if role requires travel).
