About the Role:

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Personal Assistant/Carer to support Myles, a friendly and energetic 31-year-old man with Autism and mild epilepsy. Myles enjoys football, both watching and playing, and loves gaming on his PlayStation. He also enjoys pub visits to watch matches (note: Myles does not drink alcohol due to his medication).

Due to his Autism and difficulty with reading and writing, Myles can be vulnerable when unsupported in the community. He lives with his mother, who is blind, so this role is essential in supporting Myles to enjoy his independence while staying safe.

Key Responsibilities:

Supporting Myles on local travel from college Encouraging and enabling participation in social and recreational activities Prompting medication Prompting personal grooming (e.g., adjusting clothing, cleaning face) No housekeeping but pack lunch shopping if needed Providing companionship and general support
