Pack & Dispatch (Warehouse Operative)

McBraida is a leading and innovative manufacturing company specialising in precision components for the aerospace industry. We take pride in our strong focus on innovation, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. We're pioneers in aerospace engineering. Across our two facilities we have a total of 70 CNC machines; the majority of these are milling and turning centres, but we also have excellent grinding and EDM (electrical discharge machining) capabilities to manufacture the more difficult and intricate features. We produce components for the leading aerospace companies in the civil, commercial, military and marine industries.

We have an exciting opportunity, for a hardworking individual, to join our pack and dispatch team as an operative. This section oversees the delivery and packing of all orders that get sent out the factory. By joining McBraida you will become a part of a team, where authenticity is celebrated. Main Duties and Responsibilities

As an integral part of this team, you'll have the opportunity to be involved in:

Effectively working within a team environment, communicating with fellow team members. Safe handling of Aerospace components to be packaged and sent to our customers. Following the delivery plan as per the customer needs. Correct boxing, labelling, picking, storage, and safe loading of finished goods. Ensure all processes are understood and ensure compliance. Ensure standards and quality controls are maintained, and ensuring compliance with necessary health, safety and environmental policies and standards. Working in line with internal processes. Performing corrective actions. Taking part in training, including keeping up to date with the relevant Health & Safety standards. Please note this role also owns booking goods into the factory from sub contracted facilities. This will include: Quality checking of incoming parts Accurate amendment of delivery paper work Booking parts onto the system. This list highlights key aspects of the role but is not exhaustive. You will need to be prepared to undertake other reasonable duties as and when required.
Required Experience and Skills

A self-starter who anticipates issues and takes initiative to solve problems, continually seeking ways to improve processes and contribute to team success. Efficiently manages time and prioritises tasks to meet production targets, even under pressure, ensuring timely completion of parts. Adaptable and collaborative, with the ability to work closely with a team, contributing to a dynamic and supportive work environment. Excellent practical problem-solving ability. A demonstrated focus on achieving results. Extremely strong attention to detail. Able to build and maintain effective working relationships with a variety of colleagues. Show a 'can-do' attitude.
