About the role


Balfour Beatty has an amazing opportunity for an Package Co-ordinator to join our amazing Major Projects team to work at our iconic Old Oak Common development in London.

HS2s new c. 1 billion Old Oak Common station will become the UKs best-connected rail station once completed. Our Balfour Beatty VINCI SYTRA joint venture will be responsible for the final design, construction, and commissioning of the station in Northwest London.

Upon completion, the new station will boast six underground platforms and up to eight platforms on the adjacent Great Western Main Line. Old Oak Common will also provide high speed rail services to the Midlands, central London, Scotland, and the North, as well as direct services to three major airports. Incorporating passenger and retail facilities, the new station will provide an exceptional customer experience for both passengers and visitors to the station.

The Package Co-Ordinator role is embedded in the Package Management teams and will be the responsible owner of workflows for all subcontract deliverables,


coordination of information through ALIM, RFI system and CEMAR in regard


to subcontract deliverables, subcontract works information and any other


technical information.
What you'll be doing




Manage workflows for all subcontract deliverables within ALIM, RFI, and CEMAR systems Own and update Subcontract Works Information (SWI) registers Coordinate periodic reviews of SWI and liaise with teams to identify required instructions Prepare and issue bulk SWI instructions, supporting narrative development Tag SWI appropriately within document control systems by work package Manage document submission schedules and workflows across teams and document control Ensure timely internal and third-party review of deliverables Liaise with subcontractors and document control to resolve submission issues Administer and monitor technical requests, ensuring timely close-out Prepare regular reports on deliverables status and SWI changes


Who we're looking for


Essential Skills & Experience:Right to live and work permanently in the UK Experience in a similar environment (e.g., construction, fabrication, design) Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Proven ability to report clear, reliable information Takes ownership and adopts a proactive, solution-focused approach Builds effective relationships with internal teams, suppliers, clients, and stakeholders Experience in document control, project coordination, or project administration


Desirable Skills & Experience:Familiarity with ISO 9001 Knowledge of systems such as Business Collaborator, ALIM AssetWise, and CEMAR Understanding of NEC3 contracts and their communication requirements Experience in project reporting, data analysis, and dashboard creation
