FLT Driver

in our Packaging Dept based at our Great North Road Sandy

SG19 2AJ

Wednesday to Saturday Shift

Pay rate - 12.65

Job Purpose

To ensure packaging items are available for production in line with anticipated demands and ensure any surplus packaging is returned to the packaging store

General Areas of Responsibility

To ensure the production lines have sufficient packaging stock levels to complete required orders To ensure any surplus packaging is returned to the packaging store neat and tidy To maintain a clean and tidy working environment within the packaging stores

Principle Accountabilities

Unloading deliveries and storing packaging stock Locate and check quantities against delivery paperwork; escalate any discrepancies to the Packaging Supervisor/ Line Leader as appropriate Distributing stock to the packing lines Counting stock as required

Experience, Knowledge, Qualifications

A forklift licence is required

(PPT licence is also desirable) A positive disposition and 'can do' approach are essential Must be numerate and have good written and verbal communication skills Must be able to work under own initiative Some lifting is necessary so physical fitness is required
