Job summary - What to expect:



As a Packaging Graphics Specialist within our EMEA Marketing and Professional Affairs department, you will support the Private Label Team with a large-scale packaging update project, creating all required EU packaging artworks and make print ready for external printing.


Your responsibilities will include:


Completing the creation, proofreading and revisions of production art. Collaborating with global cross-functional teams to complete work assignments and meet governmental regulations deadlines and corporate guidelines. Staying up to date with latest packaging trends (graphics and process) Layering of artwork correctly for printing, along with packaging, materials, manufacturing, environmental trends and regulations, and corporate guidelines. Working closely and effectively with other company disciplines to achieve company goals. Using Adobe Creative Suite, as well as working on Flexo, Litho and Digital, at an advanced level.

About you:



We are looking for someone with:


Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat). A good understanding of printing processes (Flexo, Litho & Digital) and the layering of artwork correctly for printing, along with packaging, materials, manufacturing, environmental trends and regulations, and corporate guidelines. Must be well organised, able to multi-task, happy to work as a team as well as ability to work independently and with minimum supervision where required. Excellent attention to detail. Strong computer graphics and design skills. Excellent written and verbal communications skills. Excellent organizational skills. Excellent interpersonal skills. Sound problem solving ability. Ability to work closely and effectively with other company disciplines to achieve company goals. Self-motivation, flexibility, attention to detail and persistence are desired traits. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.

Experience & Education:



Required


At least 2/3 years packaging creation/amendment experience (preferably from a medical or pharmaceutical background). Experience with Digital Workflow and Quality Management Systems required. An outstanding portfolio and experience that demonstrates clear knowledge of print production and packaging design. Working in a customer-focused, right-first-time environment Experience working in a geographically dispersed team across multiple time zones.
