Job Description

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

o Works under some direct supervision
o Will package a wide variety of products on a range of secondary and tertiary packaging operations according to SOP's
o Selects and dispenses required material, loads equipment, making adjustments to line as necessary
o Responsible for full line changeovers and set-up according to detailed standard operating procedures and training aids.
o May carry out trouble shooting root cause analysis and minor maintenance work to minimise down time.
o Has responsibility for production and all associated paperwork and computer data entry.
o Required to carry out full clean down of the packaging line in accordance with established procedures
o To actively take part in continuous improvement/SFT/NPI (Shop Floor Transformation & New Product Introduction) and CANDO activity within the department to support a continuous improvement culture and drive operational performance improvement.
o Investigates and reports problems on equipment and organises maintenance with a primary objective of minimising process downtime.
o Responsible for the quality of work as all work is subject to GMP
o Will monitor and record all actions and document as appropriate within GMP requirements.
