Packed Ware Auditor - 5 Crew

Role description



The 'Added Value Department' are looking to for a packed ware auditor due to an internal promotion. The successful candidates will assist in carrying out final checks on packed bottles to identify and report any glass or printing defects to supervision, allowing the business to achieve its commitment in manufacturing quality products to its customers.

Responsibilities:

Health and Safety responsibility towards them self and their work colleagues

Conducting visual and manual checks including weight, rub & pressure testing on sample bottles, in line with the Digital Quality Plan.

Identify and respond to container defects informing supervision so they can be actioned.

Regular monitoring of printed ware to ensure both glass and print quality standards are achieved.

Maintaining hygiene standards in work area.

Required skills / qualifications:

First class communication skills with all work colleagues to help maintain an effective well-informed team

The desire to demonstrate the company core value, of Teamwork, Excellence and Trust

The ability to keep well documented log sheets and operate the PWA computer system

Understanding and able to comply with legislation and company procedures and show devotion towards continuous improvement.

A flexible approach and commitment to be trained to operate palletisers/printing machines on a as and when cover basis

What we offer

Salary Minimum 36,207 - 41,571 per annum

Salary sacrifice pension scheme with up to 10% matched contributions

Normal shift pattern is determined by the 5-crew shift rota, however, typically consists of a two 12-hour day shifts followed by two 12-hour night shifts and then a six-day rest period, which includes 20 shifts when working the 5 crew 12-hour shift rota / Holidays are built into the shift 5 crew rota
