Job Description

Role Purpose



As a Packer at Foodpoint Produce, you are responsible for accurately and efficiently preparing customer orders for delivery. You will work closely with the warehouse and logistics teams to ensure the quality, accuracy, and timeliness of all outgoing deliveries. Your attention to detail helps us maintain trust with customers and reduce waste.

Core Responsibilities



Accurately pick and pack fresh produce orders based on customer requirements using the Grownet app. Inspect produce for quality and freshness before packing. Ensure all items are packed safely, securely, and in accordance with temperature requirements. Label boxes clearly and correctly with order and route details, using printed labels. Maintain a clean and orderly packing area, ensuring hygiene and food safety standards are met. Communicate any stock shortages, damaged goods, or packing issues to supervisors promptly. Support efficient loading of packed orders onto delivery vehicles. Adhere to all food hygiene, health and safety, and warehouse safety protocols. Wear appropriate PPE (including high-vis) during all operational tasks. Log any incidents or packing errors accurately in the Grownet system or via supervisors. Contribute to regular stock checks and support stock rotation (FIFO).

What We're Looking For



Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfilment. Experience working in a warehouse or packing environment (preferred). Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced, cold-storage environment. Comfortable using technology (mobile apps, digital checklists). Good communication skills and a proactive attitude. Physically fit and capable of lifting boxes (up to ~25kg). Punctual, reliable, and team-oriented.

Typical Shift



Start: Between 10:00 am and 6:00 am (depending on rota). Finish: Based on order volume and task completion. Workdays: Typically Monday-Saturday (rota-based).
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.21-13.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 48 per week
