Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Packer to join our bakehouse team. The successful candidate will be responsible for efficiently preparing products for delivery to our customers, ensuring accuracy and quality standards are maintained.

Duties

Carefully select and pack items according to order specifications, ensuring accuracy and completeness Assist with shipping and receiving processes, including verifying incoming deliveries and preparing outgoing shipments Conduct quality control checks to ensure products meet company standards before dispatch Handle materials with care, including heavy lifting where necessary, adhering to health and safety guidelines Stock shelves and organise storage areas to optimise space utilisation and accessibility Support mechanical tasks related to packing machinery or equipment maintenance as needed Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment at all times

Experience

Training will be provided for the right candidate Experience with shipping & receiving procedures, or picking & packing roles is desirable Mechanical knowledge or experience in quality control processes will be considered a plus Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently is required Strong organisational skills with attention to detail are essential for success in this role
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 6 - 20 per week
