Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented production based packing operative to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that products are accurately packed and prepared for shipment. This position requires a strong focus on quality control, materials handling, and efficient warehouse operations.

Duties

Accurately pick and pack products according to order specifications. Conduct quality control checks to ensure that all items meet company standards before shipping. Maintain an organised work area, ensuring that materials are stored correctly and safely. Assist with shipping and receiving tasks as needed, including verifying incoming shipments against purchase orders. Perform heavy lifting as required, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of orders.

Experience

Previous warehouse experience is highly desirable, particularly in packing or materials handling roles. Familiarity with forklift operation is an advantage; relevant training will be provided if necessary. Experience with stock management and warehouse management systems is beneficial. A basic understanding of mechanical processes can be advantageous for troubleshooting equipment issues. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in all tasks performed.
