Gower View Foods is a leading manufacturer of dairy products, supplying a range of high-quality goods to retail and foodservice markets across the UK.

With increasing demand, Gower View Foods is expanding and looking for Packing Machine Operators to join the team and ensure the smooth and efficient operation of its packing lines.

The Opportunity

As a Packing Machine Operator, you will work as part of a team to set up, operate, and maintain packing machinery. This is an excellent opportunity to join a modern food manufacturing company, with full on-the-job training. There is also potential for career progression, including opportunities to advance into supervisory roles for candidates with the right attitude.

Key Responsibilities will include:

Set up and operation of packing machines according to production requirements. Monitoring packing processes to ensure efficiency and minimal waste. Performing regular quality checks to ensure products meet company and industry standards. Troubleshooting minor technical issues and escalating major faults when necessary. Ensuring all safety and hygiene regulations are followed in line with food production standards. Working closely with the production team to meet daily targets and deadlines. Maintaining a clean and organised work environment.

What we are looking for:

Experience in a food production or manufacturing environment is desirable but not essential. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality control. Understanding of food hygiene and safety regulations (or willingness to learn). Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Flexibility to work shift patterns if required.
