About the Role:



General duties will involve packing our products ready for dispatch. We're committed to developing our team and offer a variety of roles within this department. Please note: This role involves working in a

chilled environment

as part of our food production process.

No previous experience is necessary as full training is provided. All we ask is that you bring a positive, team-player attitude and a desire to get the job done well.

What We're Looking For:



The ideal candidate will:



Be self-motivated and able to work on their own initiative Thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment Demonstrate high standards of work Have basic English skills - both written and verbal Be a team player (Ideally) have previous experience in food production, though this is not essential as training will be provided

Desirable (but not essential) skills and experience:



Experience working in a manufacturing environment (FMCG preferred) Basic knowledge of Health and Safety policies and procedures Level 1 Food Hygiene certification Awareness of HACCP and BRC Global Standards Familiarity with machinery Strong communication skills - both verbal and written

Roles and Responsibilities



Accurate Meal Assembly



Assemble meals by portioning cooked ingredients into containers according to exact weights, measurements, and recipes.

Use scales and measuring tools to ensure compliance with nutritional and portion control standards.

Follow specific plating or layout instructions to ensure consistent presentation.

Ingredient Verification



Double-check labels, components, and allergen notes before packing.

Confirm correct ingredients are used for each meal based on the production list and batch sheets.

Notify the Pack Team Lead if any discrepancies or missing components are found.

Quality & Safety Standard



Handle food products hygienically, maintaining high sanitation standards throughout the packing process.

Follow all food safety protocols (e.g., gloves, hairnets, sanitization).

Immediately report any damaged containers, spoiled ingredients, or cross-contamination risks.

Efficiency & Workflow Support



Keep up with the production pace while maintaining accuracy.

Assist in replenishing packing line supplies (containers, labels, utensils).

Help set up or break down the packing area before and after shifts.

Communication & Teamwork



Collaborate with team members and take direction from the Pack Team Lead to maintain smooth operations.

Quickly communicate any delays, shortages, or issues to the lead.

Be flexible to shift between packing stations or support tasks as needed.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 37.5 per week
